Your road to recovery begins by answering the 5-question "Running Back Pain Screen".
After you complete the screen, I'll review your answers and send you a video explaining:
1. Which spinal structure is most likely causing your pain — muscle or joint/disc.
2. The #1 exercise I'd recommended to begin treating your back pain.
3. If you're currently safe to keep running.
4. Whether we can fully fix your pain from home, or if you need in-person care.

Meet Your Running PT
➤ U.S. Army Physical Therapist: I’ve spent 7+ years helping hundreds of Soldiers return to running pain-free, often in situations where rest isn’t an option.
➤ Remote PT Experience: As the physical therapist for a geographically dispersed unit, I routinely diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries remotely.
➤ Lumbar Spine Specialist: Before becoming a PT, I experienced severe lower back pain that stopped me from running and playing sports. This has driven my career-long focus on accurately diagnosing and treating lumbar spine pain.

What Happens After The Screen
What Happens After
The Screen
If your "Running Back Pain Screen" confirms you’re a good fit for PT from home, I’ll invite you to schedule a FaceTime/Zoom call where we’ll review your full history and perform a comprehensive movement assessment.
No equipment is required. Anything that can’t be evaluated live (such as running form) can be recorded and sent afterward for detailed review.

After your assessment, I'll create a structured return-to-run program that includes corrective exercises, run drills, and anything else you need to address the root cause of your pain.
You'll complete your PT sessions on your own schedule — at home or in the gym. And throughout the recovery process you'll have 24/7 access to me via text, phone, or video to answer questions, review your form, and progress your plan.

She had back pain with a number of activities, including running, sit-ups, and squats (with squats being the most painful, and therefore the main activity we used to track her progress).
These are her results:
